Booking & Registration

No you do not. You can sign up for the Sweat For Good app as a non-member of the Y and get Basic Access which includes four free online fitness classes every week. If you are a non-member click here to register today.

If your are an active member of the YMCA of Greater Toronto you can register to Sweat For Good app here. Make sure to have your membership number handy, which you can find on your membership card above the barcode.

If you don’t know your membership card, contact memberservices@ymcagta.org or ask for help using the chat function.

As an active member, the Virtual Y Membership is included in your fees, which means you have unlimited access to over 100 live online classes per month.

You can access your Virtual Y Membership by following steps below:

  1. Open the Sweat For Good app and click on the two arrows in the top right corner.
  2. Next, click on "Virtual Y".
  3. Then click on "Schedule & Booking".
  4. Finally, click on the class you would like to attend when you are ready to join. Enjoy your class!

This may mean that your account is set to a different time zone.

Use the following steps to ensure your account is set to the correct time zone:

  1. Go to ymcaofgreatertoronto.virtuagym.com.
  2. Log in using your Sweat For Good App login credentials.
  3. Click on your name in the upper right corner.
  4. Click on Account Settings.
  5. Click on Language & Location.
  6. Change time zone to America/Toronto.

Before you can activate the mobile app, you must first register as a user with a valid YMCA membership ID on our web registration page. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to sweatforgoodapp.ymcagta.org.
  2. Fill out the registration form. Be sure to use your valid YMCA membership barcode and last name.
  3. Submit the form to complete your registration.
  4. Next, download and open the SFG mobile app.
  5. Click the Activate Account button.
  6. Fill out the form and then create a password.
  7. Click Activate Account. You are now ready to access the mobile app.

If you are unable to use the Sweat For Good App on your phone, you can access the online version. To register for the online portal:

  1. Go to sweatforgoodapp.ymcagta.org.
  2. Fill out the registration form. Be sure to use your valid YMCA membership barcode and last name.
  3. Submit the registration form.
  4. To complete your registration, call (416) 928-9622 and a member of our team will activate your account.

You can change your password or email by logging in to your account through our online portal. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to ymcaofgreatertoronto.virtuagym.com.
  2. Log in using your SFG App login credentials.
  3. Click on your name in upper right corner.
  4. Click on Account Settings.
  5. Click on Email & Password.
  6. Click on Change button for either Email or Password or both.

Using the app, you can recover your password from your existing account. Follow the steps:

  1. On the Sweat For Good login page, click “Forgot your password”.
  2. Enter the email you used to register for your account.
  3. Follow the password recovery instructions you receive in your email.

Before joining a class, you must scroll to read the COVID-19 screening. If you are symptom free, check the box to confirm. The “Join” button should now be active. Remember to cancel your workout if you develop symptoms later on!
