Employment, Community, and Immigrant Services centres are turning on their lights

Our services have adapted to your new reality

Employment, Community, and Immigrant Services have been available to you virtually for the past several months and now we’re excited to announce we will be available in person again – with some limitations:

We will be offering the option of either in-person or virtual appointments with our staff. And of course, we will continue to offer all the other great virtual events like job fairs and workshops will continue.

Keeping You Safe

Nothing is more important than your safety. We are following all regulations and guidelines from our government and public health officials to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Safety Measures

Safety measures in all of our Employment, Community, and Immigrant Services centres include:

  • All meetings will be by appointment only
  • We have implemented screening protocols upon your arrival at the centre
  • All staff and guests will be required to wear a face mask or covering (if you do not have a mask, one will be provided)
  • Hand sanitizer will be available as you enter the centre
  • Surfaces will be sanitized before and after in-person meetings
  • A Plexiglas screen has been installed at all front desk areas
  • All our centres will have a nightly deep clean

Testimonial

Here’s what Mohamed, one of our employment clients had to say about our services, "My English language skills were very weak when I came here but my counselor was very patient with me. She supported me throughout the process. For anyone searching for a job or needs any other employment related support, my advice is to register with YMCA Employment. It is the best decision that I made.”
